Security Engineer IDM

Fortune 500 Company is seeking a Information Security Engineer to handle the administration of corporate identity management infrastructure including firewalls, IDS, and other perimeter defense systems. Identity management solutions improve security and reduce cost through an integrated identity management approach, including secure access authentication, directory services and single sign-on and resource provisioning technology.

Skills:
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, and must have experience working in a large-scale infrastructure, knowledge of identity management concepts, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Strong written and communication skills are essential. Other requirements include:

? This position requires a strong understanding of identity management technologies such as Novell Identity Manager (DIRXML), Novell eDirectory, Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, CA / Netegrity Site Minder, Identity Minder and/or Transaction Minder.
? Web Services Security technologies such as: Forum Systems - XWall, XRay, Sentry, and Vulcon
? Identity Management expertise in one or more of the following areas:
 o Single Sign-On
  o Enterprise Directory Architecture and Design-including directory, meta-directory and synchronization development.
? Resource Provisioning
  o Role Base Access
o Project management in a professional services environment
? Assist in the design and implementation of approved security architectures.
? Determine the technical security requirements necessary to mitigate risk for IT initiatives.
? Research, implement, and maintain required security tools.
? Monitor and communicate technical vulnerabilities to appropriate personnel.
? Preferred experience working in financial or regulated environment.
? Full understanding of effective enterprise information security process.
? Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision and be able to react to real-time situations promptly and accurately.


Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year college or university and 5-8 years experience with information security and identity management technology. Candidate must be able to interact with others effectively on daily basis. Prior project management experience required.
