Security Engineer RACF

Job Summary:
Fortune 500 Company is seeking a RACF Security Engineer to corporate mainframe logical access control infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues, and implement security changes.

We are currently seeking a RACF System Engineer for our Columbus, GA. location. The ideal candidate must understand the connections between RACF and the various. Candidate must have strong working knowledge of RACF, and Mainframe System Utilities. An understanding of RACF concepts, structures and methodologies is required. The candidate should also understand how to balance mainframe security with business requirements.


Skills:
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, and must have experience working in a large-scale infrastructure, knowledge of perimeter defense technology, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Strong written and communication skills are essential. Other requirements include:

? Advanced understanding and experience in implementation of RACF/IMS security controls.
? IMS/RACF implementation and administration experience.
? Internal auditing and compliance controls for mainframe environments.
? Experienced technical / team lead capabilities.
? Demonstrated technical writing capabilities.
? Design and perform auditing and compliance controls for logical access
? Assist in the design and implementation of approved security architectures.
? Determine the technical security requirements necessary to mitigate risk for IT initiatives.
? Research, implement, and maintain required security tools.
? Preferred experience working in financial or regulated environment.
? Full understanding of effective enterprise information security process.
? Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision and be able to react to real-time situations promptly and accurately.
? Preferred experience implementing identify management solutions.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year college or university and 5-8 years experience with Security / RACF / Mainframe Access Control in fast paced environment. Candidate must be able to interact with peers effectively on daily basis.
