Security Engineer, Senior Level

The security engineer must have 10 years of experience with all aspects of security.  Must act as a liaison between the team and the security group and ensure that the team is aware of all security requirements and to ensure compliance. Must also communicate AHS requirements to the security team and ensure all necessary documentations are provided to the security team for security certification and accreditation and approvals for change requests.

 

The security engineer must be fully proficient with the latest network, system, and application level security best practices and be proficient with at least two leading firewall products, such as Cisco PIX and NetScreen firewalls. The network engineer will be responsible for day to day management of one or more pairs of redundant firewalls in the environment.

 

This position requires routine on-call duties during non-business hours.

 

The position is location independent and virtual support can be provided with the understanding that there will be two trips required within the first 90 days of employment.
