Security Systems Engineer

Freudenberg-NOK is the Technology Specialist for elastomeric seals and customer molded products, serving manufacturers in virtually any industry. The Information and Technology team is seeking an expert Security Engineer to join our high paced and technologically strong organization. The key individual will work out of the data center in Northfield, NH. This position is key to the IT organization and is responsible for providing secure connections for over 50 facilities throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil to the Internet and private connections.



 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Bachelors Degree, BS in Computer Science/Information Technology a plus.

 

Checkpoint Certified Administrator (CCSA) certification. CCSE a plus.

 

Minimum of four years experience as a Security Administrator/Engineer in a medium to large environment with Checkpoint Firewalls. Must have an expert level of understanding in network routing, secure remote access connections, and IPSEC VPN tunnels.  

 

Experience with any of these key applications/systems desirable:

?  Netscreen/Juniper Firewalls or IDP

?  CipherTrust

?  BlueCoat SG or AV appliances

?  Proxy servers

 

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANTCES

?  Backup technical support for other IT professionals.

?  Some travel is required.

?  May be required to work extended hours, flexible schedules and cover after hours support.

?  Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings.

?  Lifting/installing servers in a rack environment
