Senior Analyst/Programmer

SUMMARY :  Full Time position responsible for creating and maintaining windows database applications.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and maintain software modules as needed. Programming in Delphi, C#.NET as required. Gather project requirements and work closely with customer support and project managers to understanding business requirements. Assist with the completion of technical documentation including requirements or specifications for code. Provide solutions and fixes to software as needed to solve a customer support problem. Interpret intricate, highly complex business specifications and translate into technical specifications. Ability to comprehend and persevere through tasks and projects quickly and efficiently. Contribute to building a positive team environment

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :Limited.

 

QUALIFICATIONSGood working knowledge of DOS, Windows XP, client-server environment. Knowledge of MS Office. Programming in Pascal/Delphi.  Prefer experience with .NET platforms. (Visual Studio C#).. Strong SQL abilities. Strong understanding of object oriented programming. Able to work and excel in a TEAM environment.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. At least 5 yrs of programming experience in Pascal/Delphi or C#.NET.

 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Should have the ability to read, analyze, write and interpret technical documents and procedures. Effectively present information and respond to questions from team members and managers.
