About the Position

Under the general direction of the Manager Operations and Planning Support Applications, the Senior Applications Engineer is responsible for activities related to development, maintenance and enhancements of supported business applications. Assignments typically include applications analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and implementation activities in compliance with established department and corporate policies, procedures and methods.? Responsible for all aspects of Oracle applications (e-Business Suite) administration, including installation, upgrade, release management, configuration, applications tuning, and user administration for the Financials, Human Resources, and Advanced Benefits modules.

Qualified applicants will have

Education:??

A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent education, training and experience.

Experience:?

Five or more years eexperience as an Oracle Applications DBA.? Extensive experience with all aspects of Oracle Applications 11i and Oracle Database 8i/9i/10g product versions in large scale UNIX environments, all Financials and Human Resources modules, including Advanced Benefits and the self-service modules, experience in underlying Oracle applications database architecture, including Web and Applications Servers, as well as Oracle applications database management and development/reporting tools.? Strong experience in managing and working through Oracle?s TAR escalation process, including applying software patches and upgrading the Oracle?s application environment.? Ability to create custom reports and forms using Oracle development tools.? Experience in a large-scale, custom-developed, e-commerce environment with high availability.? Proven track record delivering multiple enterprise-wide Financials and Human Resources applications in Oracle 11i environment.
