Senior Business Analyst (Oracle) - OM

Looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Oracle) for one of our client that provides design and outsourced manufacturing, assembly, and supply chain management to the medical device industry

 

Under the supervision of the Director of the Oracle Competency Center, the candidate will implement and support the deployed functional modules of the Oracle 11i E-Business Suite across the company.  As one of the senior functional members of the Oracle Competency Center you will be in a position to be the driving force behind utilization of the application to implement industry standard best practices to critical business processes.

 

Key Result Accountabilities

1. Provide support for configuration and application of multiple functional modules, primarily Order Management modules.

2. Develop training material and application documentation as required.

3. Identify and test application patches prior to promotion to production.

4. Responsible for assisting with the Sarbanes-Oxley efforts directly related to the Oracle E-Business Suite.

5. Working with Oracle Technical Support on TAR resolution.

1. Ability to travel globally on a limited basis..

2. Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate functional material to end user and upper management.

3. Ability to work in a demanding user environment.

 

Qualifications

1. Implementation experience and detailed understanding of the following Oracle Applications modules in Release 11i: Order Management.

2. 5+years experience with Oracle ERP, at least 3+ years experience with Oracle 11i E-Business Suite in a diverse Manufacturing environment.

3. Minimum four years college or equivalent experience.

4. Working knowledge of Oracle configurations / setups for 11i E-Business Suite: functional module setups, profile options, flex-fields, functional module interfaces.

5. Working knowledge of Order Management, particularly around sales, shipping, quotations, order taking and tracking, entire shipping process, certifications of conformance, NAFTA, and Export forms.

6. Understanding of business requirements:

-  Define future business processes around Order Management modules

-  Create detail written specifications and requirements

-  Educate business users

-  Provide guidance in data preparation and migration

-  Set application modules

-  Support acceptance testing

-  Operate within tight schedules

7.  Able to travel 50% of the year (primarily US).  Ability to travel globally
