Senior Business Analysts

Today, Nationwide continues to be an industry leader and is looking for experienced professionals to take us to an even higher level.  Our Property and Casualty Company (Allied Division) is looking for several dynamic individuals to join our team as Senior Business Analysts within our Information Systems department. 

 

These positions will play an important role across the software development lifecycle with contributions to a variety of deliverables such as business strategy formulation, project scoping and negotiation, requirements elicitation, elaboration, and definition, requirements lifecycle management, analysis and design, and testing design and strategy.  Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design will be critical as we engage with new development projects using the latest application technologies and architectures.  In addition to project delivery capability and responsibility, these roles will contribute to the Business Analysis and Consulting competency within the IT organization. Being comfortable with mentoring and coaching roles is a requirement. Successful candidates will exude personal leadership and passion for the domain; and in turn, inspire fellow professionals to do the same

 

Qualified candidates will possess: *Three plus years of experience in business consulting and analysis involving problem solving, planning, coordinating and organizing * A thorough knowledge of business, financial services and/or insurance policies and procedures as well as customer service concepts and practices. *A familiarity with product terminology, processes, regulatory and compliance issues *Thorough understanding of development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Rational Unified Process (RUP) *Polished communication and presentation skills *Undergraduate degree and experience in property and casualty insurance preferred.
