Senior Business Intellignece Architect

Global Fortune 500 Conglomerate in New Jersey is seeking to add onto staff an experienced Data Mart/ Business Intelligence Analyst/Architect who will be responsible for spear heading the design and support of data architecture and business intelligence applications which will be integrated within the existing IT applications infrastructure. To be considered the ideal candidate will be able to define key performance indicators and data needs to improve insight into profit and loss, business costs and new opportunities and?must be able to?design and build data models and data architecture to support business reporting and analytics as well as develop standards, policies and proceedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems. The ideal candidate must also be able to optimize the performance of data mart and business intelligence tools by defining data. They will also?assist in the design and coordination of a curriculum for business intelligence tools and will develop data/information quality metrics. The ideal candidate must also be able to research new technology to better improve business intelligence solutions. Those candidates possessing 5+ or more years of expertise working with large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and systems, and with extensive data analysis experience including: logical modeling, physical database design, relational and dimensional database design and data architecture will be considered primary candidates. In depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and utilities (DTS, SSIS) and substantial expertise with business intelligence reporting tools is strongly desired as well. Experience with .NET development and /or reporting tools would be considered a plus. Degree is required, advanced degree is preferred. No Third party candidates will be considered.
