The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Senior Business Systems Support Analyst for our Technology Service Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
A Senior Business System Support Analyst role within the corporate Technology Services Group (TSG) is needed to work closely with Billing System applications, both the Convergys ICOMS/Infinys and CSG/ACP platforms. This position will interface with various Time Warner Cable divisions assisting with reporting initiatives, issues, and opportunities. This person will be involved with how billing systems relate to all TWC reporting initiatives, especially as related to the Customer Value Creation (CVC) project. This person will serve as a subject matter data expert (SME) for Divisions, TSG, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Customer Service and other departments. This position reports directly to the Business Systems Support Manager
Job Requirements:
Assists data modelers and architects with the design of CVC, data warehouse and data mart components required to support consolidating data from 39 regional divisions serving 1 million subscribers. Design elements include, but are not limited to, cubes, schemas, tables, and views; Identifies ways to provide target support to the end-user community to help them more effectively utilize the data mart components; Assists end-users with ad-hoc queries and data mart report requests as needed; Provide assistance to the CVC project by serving as SME for the ICOMS/Infinys and CSG/ACP platform; Work closely with vendors and developers to integrate their products with Time Warner Cable billing systems; Completes and updates information and knowledge management component documentation as requested; Some travel is required, usually not more than once a month. Depending on the project/initiative involved, this could be more frequent; Perform other duties requested as needed.
Education and Experience:
Uses knowledge associated with a Bachelor?s Degree (or equivalent experience), as well as seven to ten years direct experience in delivering professional services, technology projects, products and/or programs; Has extensive and comprehensive knowledge of both the ICOMS and CSG billing system platform and can transition that knowledge to the CVC application; Previous experience with data warehousing, CRM solutions, and/or other database applications is strongly desired; Previous experience with the AS400/iSeries, OS/400, DB2, Oracle, C+, C++, Informatica and/or Unix is a plus; Has previous experience with product launches and initiatives, billing system migrations and/or conversions; Experienced in providing accurate and concise information while supporting customers in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment; Must be able to react quickly to a variety of issues and tasks, handling multiple task with good judgment and self-discipline; Must possess excellent communication and documentation skills ? in person, in writing or electronic communications; Must be able to read, interpret and apply detailed instructions; Must possess sufficient data processing skills (PC use, typing speed (40 ? 80 WPM) and knowledge of standard office applications.
