Senior. C# .Net Application Developer

 


As an application developer, you?ll be expected to be fluent in the technologies currently used to deploy the innovative solutions weoffer schools.  Primary responsibility will include, but are not limited to, provide software development on internal applications and support the development of our platform serving outside clients.

Job Experience:

-  5+ years of progressively responsible experience in web and database development

-  3+ years of industry programming experience in C#

-  3+ years experience working with SQL Server

-  Experience programming and providing support for transactional or financial services applications

-  Experience architecting multi-tiered .NET web applications

 

 

Skills:

 

-  C# .NET experience mandatory

-  Web application development

1. multi-tiered web applications

2. MVC architecture

-  Experience development custom web controls

-  SQL skills 

1. SQL Server 2000/2005

2. Transact SQL

3. Stored Procedures

-  Debugging and QA experience

-  Strong grasp of design patterns

-  Test-driven development a plus

-  Agile software development background a plus

-  Visual Basic experience a plus

-  Financial services industry experience a plus

-  Maintain open lines of communication relating to the status of a given project and its risks and challenges

-  Strong .NET Developer able to take requirements and complete coding through from production to release.

-  Must have superb analytical skills, strong business acumen and testing skill.

-  Good communication and interpersonal skills needed

-  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
