Senior Cognos Business Intelligence Consultant
ISA Consulting has immediate, full-time positions available in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, and Washington DC metro areas for Senior Cognos Business Intelligence Consultants.
ISA Consultant responsibilities include all aspects of implementing and supporting application solutions including:
? Project management activities
? Gathering and analyzing business requirements
? Installing and configuring software
? Defining solutions to support the business need
? Delivering test plans and testing applications
? Migrating the applications to production
? Delivering knowledge transfer to clients
The ideal Cognos Business Intelligence candidate must possess:
? 3 years of hands-on experience working with Cognos BI products including PowerPlay, Impromptu, IWR, and ReportNet (Report Studio, Query Studio and Framework Manager)
? Familiar with Metrics Manager and Visualizer
? Cognos 8 (Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Metrics Studio, Event Studio) and other BI products offerings are a plus
? Decision Stream experience is a plus
? 3 years practical experience in workforce
? Knowledge of databases & SQL is a must, UNIX a plus
? Strong communication and documentation skills
? Undergraduate degree is required, preferably in Business or Computer Science area
? Ability to travel within our client region is required
