WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Qualified candidates will have the following requirements:8-10 years of project management experience, overseeing finance, compliance, legal and/or IT related projects.Demonstrated ability to manage projects hands-on according to a project management methodology (e.g., Hartford Life's Framework, etc) as well as being able to effectively resolve issues and risks associated with the projects.Candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity. Strong planning, organization, analytic and problem solving skills to provide structure and clarity to project related issues.Investment products (Mutual Funds, 401K) and Annuities experience.Ability to influence key business partners at all levels. Team oriented with ability to establish and nurture relationships.Ability to drive change through the organization.Analytical thinker, creative problem solver and ability to work independently.High energy level and enthusiasm to drive for results.Member of PMI would be a plus or the desire to obtain a PMP certification.Current Series 6 or previously held preferred.

 

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

 Working with various IPD business units to manage compliance projects relative to Federal laws, State regulations, and internal policies in support of all IPD products.Coordinate and provide project support for Corporate Compliance initiatives such as AML Certification, and Securities Compliance written supervisory procedures.Effectively communicate project activities throughout IPD and with other compliance teams.Track compliance project activities and deliverables for timely completion.Contribute to the development of the IPD Compliance organization.

Manage internal projects to improve the function and communication of the IPD Compliance Unit, such as development of an IPD Compliance website.

 

Successful incumbents will be responsible for:

 Actively leading and/or participating in compliance/legal related projects.Developing methods to manage key compliance projects in IPD business areas.Support with the IPD Compliance Access Dashboard and monthly dashboard reporting.Facilitate project methodology and best practice sharing in conjunction with the IPD Compliance team.
