Senior Conversion Developer

Designs, develops and supports large, complex applications or integrated suites of applications for use by Kelly Services internal and external customers. Conducts analysis of existing complex systems. May also perform a team lead role. Conduct Analysis of existing complex integrated system. Other duties include consulting with internal and external business partners to develop technical solutions to business problems and/or opportunities, which are cost effective and value added. Ensures development standards are defined and implemented and that development staff is educated on the use of standards. Contributes to project planning, control and status reporting functions for assignments/projects, including setting cost, schedule and performance. Trains, develops and mentors other engineers and technical staff.

Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience required. At least 7 years of development experience of which 3+ years should be with PeopleSoft ERP applications. The ideal candidate will hve worked on the conversion effort. Ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment. Excellent communication, time management, problem solving and decision making skills. Expert knowledge of structured development methodologies and iterative development. Expert software development skills in the computing environment supported, knowledge of development tools and database programming environments. Must have
PeopleSoft 8.x, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL, and PeopleSoft Data Mover. Additional experience with Oracle and/or Teradata databases, SQR, Shell Scrips, and IBM Mainframe is a plus.
