Senior Data Quality Analyst

Job Description:
Senior Data Quality Analyst: Analyzes data quality guidance and instructions from DoD in developing Military Health System Service Level requirements. Previous experience at the MAJCOM or equivalent level or higher would be advantageous. Also, experience working with Air Force medical health system policies and business practices for health records management, clinical workload, billing and cost accounting management would be advantageous. Supports in the management of the Data Quality Management control program for 70+ Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) worldwide, including collecting, analyzing and reporting accurate and timely information to the TRICARE Management Activity. Provides consultative services to intermediate command and MTFs in regards to interpretation of policy. Participates in the DoD level Data Quality Management Control Group. Identifies issues that may require modifications to Service level guidance and policies or development of training modalities.

Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in one of following areas: health care administration, accounting, finance, business or public administration. Masters Degree is preferred. Should possess strong quantitative analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and intermediate/advance skills with MS Word, Excel, and Power-Point/Understanding of Database Management.

Desired Skills: Functional knowledge in Military Health System specific systems, including the Composite Health Care System, AHLTA, Medical Expense Performance and Reporting System. Familiarization with business and clinical Military Health System programs. US Air Force background/experience. Knowledge in medical coding requirements. Data mart, data warehouse and database query and data mining support. Business Process Engineering and/or organizational change management.

Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent and 10 years of related experience.
