Senior Data Warehouse Microstrategy Developer - (JM10202)

The key responsibilities of this individual will be as follows:
Design, develop, test, and maintain reports using MicroStrategy
Defining, developing and documenting functional requirements
Developing and documenting business requirements
Ability to lead small teams of Microstrategy developers
Ability to architect Microstrategy solutions
Create and maintain plans and schedule for developing, testing, and deploying reports and applications
Mentoring junior level staff
Set and meet deadlines
Contribute knowledge and experience to the project planning process
Documentation of reports including specifications, deployment procedures, and operating procedures
Monitor the performance of reports and applications after implementation
Analyze and resolve issues with reports and applications
Provide technical assistance to queries regarding problems or other questions
Other tasks as required


Qualifications:
Strong IT skills are needed (fundamental programming skills, application design and development).
Prefer a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Ability to work in a team environment by completing tasks and assisting co-workers when needed.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment


Education/Experience:
BS Computer Science or Information Management Preferred
5-7 years of overall IT experience
Minimum of 3 years of Microstrategy experience
Strong SQL Skills, preferably in an Oracle environment
Experience with MicroStrategy SDK and Narrowcast Server preferred
Healthcare experience desired
Understanding Data Warehouse Architecture and concepts
Understanding of ETL process
Experience in high-volume databases systems
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Experience with rapid development methodologies a plus
