Senior Database Administrator - Oracle and/or SQL Server

Are you a Senior Database Administrator with proven expertise in database design, performance, security and implementation?  If so, this may be your next career move!  This senior level database administration position will provide primary support for various large Oracle databases along with primary support for our SQL Server environment.  You will provide senior level guidance and execution for the backup, recovery, performance tuning and capacity management of these critical Oracle and/or SQL Server databases. 

 



Do you have what it takes to be a Senior DBA at Dollar General?

 Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 9i and 10g requiredStrong knowledge of SQL Server 2000 and 2005 requiredAbility to provide 24X7 support requiredProven expertise with Oracle on UNIXExperience with managing SQL Server in a clustered environmentBackground in applications development and data modeling preferredExperience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) preferredExperience with databases that exceed a terabyte in size is preferredExperience with data replication in Oracle and/or SQL Server is preferredExperience with Oracle OEM and/or Oracle Grid is preferredExperience with Oracle Data Guard is preferredExperience administrating Oracle Application Server is preferred

Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your
experience, with bonus potential.
