Senior Database Developer

Effective technology plays an essential role at American Imaging Management, a growing national provider of diagnostic imaging management services. At our headquarters in Deerfield, IL (in Chicago's north suburbs), we seek a skilled professional to join our IT Staff as a Senior Database Developer.

 

Essential Responsibilities:
?Enforce coding standards and perform code reviews
?Work closely with developers to ensure optimal performance of stored procedures
?Create, optimize and tune stored procedures and triggers
?Troubleshooting database issues
?Mentor and guide SQL development
?Analyze and make recommendations to improve performance initiatives


 

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

 

Requirements:
Sybase ASE, Oracle or MS*SQL Server
Any additional RDBMS a plus

 

Experience:
5+ years SQL programming

 

Special Requirements:
? Must have a track record of troubleshooting and investigating complex database issues
?Must be proficient in performance tuning, client/server connectivity, query optimization and troubleshooting
?Strong problem solving skills and creative thinker
?A self-starter who works well independently
?Must be a team player
?Adheres to all American Imaging Management protocols, policies and procedures
?Performs other duties as assigned
