Summary:
A Senior Developer has 3-5 years of experience in coding applications according to defined business requirements. Developers utilize the Application Architecture group for technical advice and must write code that conforms to the coding standards set by the architecture group.

1. Interact with leads to gain an understanding of the desired solution (application) described in the business requirements documentation.
2. Write code using appropriate technologies as decided in the architecture meetings and documented by the lead.
3. Create unit test documentation and perform tests specified within the documents.
4. Participate in code review sessions.
5. Assist other developers as needed.
6. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
May manage a limited number of supporting staff. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these individuals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education and/or Experience
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field with 3 to 5 years of experience in coding applications according to defined business requirements; must be familiar with .NET, SQL Server and have a strong understanding of application architecture, interfaces printers, other applications and movement of date or equivalent experience.

Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret threat analysis products, procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills - Practical understanding and experience in Business Mathematics. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration and percent. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, area, circumference and volume.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Strong ability to multi-task projects/tasks.

Computers - Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
