Our requirements
Essential Functions:

Design, develop, test and maintain heterogeneous business aplications and supporting services in a 24x7 enterprise environment
Work effectively on individual assignments and cross functional teams
Provide accurate level of effort estimates for tasks
Write user, technical and project documentation in accordance with our comprehensive project management and development methodologies
Understand and exploit data stores in support of business goals
Deliver results across platform, system and development language boundaries
Optimize complex code and troubleshoot mission critical systems

Desired Experience and Skills:

5+ years progressive experience as a business applications developer
2+ years experience with Java and XML
Hands-on experience across the complete software development lifecycle
Experience with production support in large volume 24x7 environment
Solid understanding of distributed systems and n tier architecture
Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux shell scripting and SQL

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and thrive in a cross-functional environment and on individual assignments
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and clients

Experience with JBOSS, SOAP and EJB a plus
Experience with Credit Management or Payment Processing a plus
Experience with PL/1, CICS or SAS a plus

Education or Equivalent Experience:

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience

This position is open in our Terre Haute or Indianapolis, Indiana facilities.
