Job Description:
Key Function
Performs as a Subject Matter Expert in the development, implementation and support of Workflow, Imaging and Content Management based applications. Leads the application design, estimating, coding, testing and maintenance initiatives for multi-platform workflow systems.
Job Requirements:
?Maintains a thorough understanding of Business Requirements
?Designs, implements and supports multi-platform Workflow and Imaging applications that meet the business requirements utilizing technologies in AXA's Reference Architecture
?Documents technical, design, application, testing and implementation requirements
?Defines time tables and project plans for applications and systems; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost and impact on other systems.
?Follows standards, procedures and methodologies in the Software Development Life Cycle and recommends improvements.
?Leads design, code, integration, performance tuning and testing review sessions
?Develops/Maintains test scenarios, executes tests scenarios, analyzes results, records and tracks defects discovered through the testing process.
?Leads, mentors and/or directs the work of other team members
?Collaborates with other IT departments to understand and monitor 'best practices' for application development methodologies and tools.
?Maintains broad understanding of AXA platforms and applications across technologies
?Architects and designs common components. Creates documentation and presents proposals.
?Interacts effectively with Vendors and other 3rd parties to resolve issues
Imaging & Workflow application implementation experience
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services and J2EE development frameworks
XML, HTML, Weblogic, Java, EJB, Servelets, Javascripts
AWD, Filenet
