Senior Developer in the Private Bank Middleware group

The Private Bank has launched a strategic technology program for the purpose of upgrading and optimizing its data access strategy in support of planned business initiatives. Development and implementation of the selected technologies is a pivotal role in this program. Responsibilities include, installation and tuning of the middleware infrastructure based on IBM’s Websphere Server Foundation architecture; development of data services to retrieve relevant business data from a number of heterogeneous data platforms across the JPMC enterprise is needed.  The person will work on design and development of  the Private Bank Middleware Messaging Framework for straight-through processing between different applications on the department and corporate levels. The Middleware Messaging Framework will be built utilizing IBM WebSphere MQ and IBM Message Broker

Required skills
Expertise in J2EE architecture
Strong knowledge of service-oriented approach in application development
Previous hands-on experience in building STP for business integration
Strong knowledge of  IBM products: WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, IBM WebSphere Application Server Enterprise Process Choreographer
Hands-on experience in Java /XML/Sybase
Experience in building APIs
Experience with C++ plus
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-pace environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
