Senior ERP Programmer/Analyst

Meet with customers and document their requirements. Perform analysis of requirements to determine the best solution to meet the customers? requirements. Create new and/or modify existing programs to implement the selected solution. Test programs created or revised per customer requirements to ensure they meet the customers? requirements. Develop reusable software modules and team standards. Research Oracle e-Business Suite functionality to see how it can be used to address customer requirements. Troubleshoot technical and functional problems, bugs and issues related to the implementation of the Oracle e-Business Suite, as well as the related customizations and interfaces. Take an empowered leadership role in the implementation of solutions that meet our customers? business needs.  Perform quality assurance of other team members? deliverables. Test Oracle patches and upgrades to determine the effect they have on the Applications functionality. Write technical documentation.  Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring to team members. Follow department policies on the software development lifecycle, source code control, and change management. Interface directly with users, developers and other IT staff. Establish and maintain strong relationships with various customers. Work effectively as a team member and individually.

 Education

BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required. MS degree in a related field preferred.

 Experience

7-9 years related experience in programming and analysis with a variety of technical projects. Minimum of 4 years experience programming for the Oracle e-Business Suite using Oracle development tools and UNIX or Linux required. Minimum of 2 years experience with the Oracle e-Business Suite R11i required. Minimum of 2 years experience with any 3 Oracle e-Business Suite modules mandatory. Experience with the Oracle e-Business Suite HR (including Benefits, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service) and Payroll modules is highly preferred. Experience with the Oracle e-Business Suite General Ledger, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules preferred. Minimum of 2 years technical leadership (e.g., development of processes, best practices, mentoring) is required.
