Senior Engineer and Consultant

The Sr Engineer will design and implement IT solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers, typically within the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area, with occasional travel to other areas.

This position is ideal for a candidate with expert level technical skills seeking challenge in a growing and employee-centric company while expanding expertise into cutting-edge technologies. Excellent training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include the following:
* Design, Implement, and Support complex IT solutions for our customers
* Support Internal IT operations, including Datacenters
* Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and teamwork
* Evaluate/recommend technologies to enhance customer business objectives

Skills & Experience
* 8+ years of IT engineering experience, 3+yrs IT consulting experience
* 5+ years of Novell and Linux technologies required
* 3+ years of Microsoft and Citrix technologies required
* 3+ years of IT security work including Firewall, Authentication, and/or IDS required
* 3+ years of Messaging Systems such as Novell Groupwise or MS Exchange required
* 2+ years of VOIP and/or PBX related experience desired
* 2+ years of Blade Server experience desired
* 2+ years of system Virtualization experience desired
* 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required
* Proven industry and professional experience required
* Technical certifications desired
