Senior Finance Business Process Manager

We are looking for a senior finance business process manager on behalf of our client, Boston Scientific.  This position is based in Natick, MA.

 

In this role, you will support Finance through the Global Systems support structure. Specific areas of responsibility include international and domestic cost accounting, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, and treasury. Overall objective is to provide global solutions to meet the business requirements of Boston Scientific.

Responsibilities:

 Provide leadership in the area of Finance Business Processes, managing the Finance Business Process Team, working with upper management, business leaders and users to identify, initiate and prioritize improvement programs and enhancements as well as with site business leaders, management and users to identify, diagnose and solve process and system issues. Identify areas for process improvement and establish effective and efficient business practices and work with department colleagues to deliver global solutions that are cross-functionally integrated, accommodate all related activities, and do not negatively impact other functional areas. In partnership with Finance Management, you will assist in the development and leadership of the Finance Business Processes education and training program including the development of materials and delivery of education at internal user groups and forums. In partnership with Finance Management, lead future rollouts of new and existing business applications to the finance community. You will also provide ongoing assistance and communication working through the local business function leaders

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor?s degreeFinance experience including specific process knowledge as well as knowledge of related business applications (SAP, Data Warehouse)Strong communication, team, and interpersonal skills, be a self starter with strong, proactive work ethic, and excellent project management skillsTravel required is 10-25%.
