Senior Functional Automation Specialist

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Designs performance tests that accurately model anticipated production workload requirements.
-Develops application performance test scripts and scenarios using industry standard tools to model production capacities and determine potential points of failure under load.
-Provides consolidated results analysis to constituents linking results to Performance Lab exit criteria.
-Contributes to the development of data requirements.

-Utilizes QES Data Management Services to construct and/or extract necessary data elements where appropriate.
-Embraces emerging technology through evaluation of complex products, testing and implementation of new tools and infrastructure components.
-Promotes the use of automation and reuse to increase productivity and facilitate problem resolution.
-Understands and utilizes change management and problem management processes, assess impact of changes or problems on the environment.
-Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
-Experience with Mercury LoadRunner or equivalent testing tool highly recommended.

SKILL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Responsible for the development, implementation and support of automated performance testing and strategies to ensure that all information, systems, products and services meet organizational and industry standards for quality and end user requirements with respect to testing for performance, capacity and volume.
