Job Description:


The Sr. Business Analyst identifies and documents business requirements, and acts as a liaison with developers, business analysts and IS management groups.


 


Job Responsibilities: 



Identify needed business/system changes and verify that the technical system specifications meet the business requirements.


Coordinate the development of requirements/specifications, design and testing efforts for large projects.


Assist in formulating, defining system scope and objectives, through research and fact-finding.


Map data across the enterprise.


Negotiate, resolve and prioritize complex issues and discrepancies-of-opinion by user groups.


Mentor other business analysts.


Establish goals and objectives for process performance.


Anticipate future trends and potential impacts to business process and systems.

Runs JAD sessions for analysis and requirements definition.




Familiarity in of various data sources like Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, XML.




Job Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience demonstrating advanced level of understanding and application of general systems concepts and their integration with business problem solving skills.


3+ years of experience on software development life cycle. 




3+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Data Modeling.

3+ years of experience in development of used case.


Minimum of 3 years analyst work experience preferably in Healthcare industry.


A consulting background is strongly preferred.

Mastery in evaluating requirements and capabilities.



Customer focused with the ability to multi-task.


Strong technical background, preferably experience with ETL tools and Operational data store.


Familiar with mainframe environment.

Runs JAD sessions for complex analysis and requirements definition.

Works under broad, general direction
