Closes 09/13/2006. Provides knowledge and business expertise of SAP and related business systems; will be a team member within one of the functional teams in providing system enhancements, development of new functionality, support and problem resolution.

 

Facilitate the use of SAP by others through user training, report generation, problem resolution, and extraction of data. Work with colleagues in Generation, Engineering, Project Management, System Planning and Performance, Gas and Electric Operations, and Contract Management to ensure complete and accurate data inputs, appropriate SAP usage and reporting. Frequent contact with users.

 

Successful candidate will be a self starter who is a strong team player; has the ability to juggle many projects simultaneously; has strong writing and communication skills; has good knowledge of business processes used in new construction and maintenance; has ability to change ideas quickly with new information, has ability to discuss many options and objectively determine the best solution to a problem.

Responsible for testing and implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, and security.

 

Required: Advanced knowledge and experience with SAP?s Plant Maintenance (PM) module, in particular with PM orders, notifications, functional locations, equipment and service entry sheets with emphasis on PM Orders. Demonstrated rapid ability to learn SAP configuration. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel.

 

Desired: In addition to advanced knowledge of the SAP PM module, knowledge of the SD, CO and QM modules. Knowledge of gas and electric utility operations and finance. Programming skills. BA/BS or advanced degree in computer science or equivalent work experience in related field.
