Senior Informatica ETL Developer, EBIS

The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a/an Senior Informatica ETL Developer, EBIS for our Technology Service Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.



Essential Job Functions:
As a member of EBIS Group, responsible for development and maintenance of various projects involving DataWarehouses and Data Marts; Develop Informatica ETLs to support data loads into Warehouse and Mart; Develop SQL scripts and PL/SQL procedures to support Warehouseing effort; Participate/Contribute in requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business/end users; Participate/Contribute in technical design sessions; Involve in data modeling effort; Provide status reports to team lead and manager; Support Team in Successful Delivery of Projects



Job Requirements:
The candidate is expected to be a senior informatica ETL developer.
The candidate should have five years experience in developing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
The candidate should have five years experience ETL development using Informatica.
The candidate should have five years experience in SQL script and PL/SQL procedure development.
The candidate should have three years experience working with Oracle databases.
The candidate should have good understanding of data modeling, data extract, load and transformation strategies. The candidate should have working knowledge on Unix and Unix shell scripting.
The candidate should have good skills in data analysis, problem solving, Oral and Written Communication Skills, ability to work on multiple projects, ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Experience in requirements gathering is a plus; Experience in business intelligence tools like Cognos PowerPlay and Cognos ReportNet is a plus.



Education and Experience:
Master's degree (M. A.) or higher; or equivalent training, education and experience. Any Architect/Datawarehousing certification is a plus; Informtica Certification is a plus; Cognos Certification is a plus; Any Database Certification is a plus; Certifications in Informatica is a plus
Certifications in Oracle Database is a plus
.
