Description: Designs, develops, documents, and implements software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular development area. Requirements:
? Ability to review good programming concepts and practices.
? Strong understanding of modeling concepts and familiarity with common tools.
? Strong understanding of basic database manipulation techniques via SQL.
? Familiarity with industry standard J2EE application containers (BEA?s, IBM?s, and Oracle?s) with extensive exposure with at least one.
? Solid understanding of Apache projects (especially Ant, Struts, and Commons).
? Encouraged to become a Sun Certified Web Component Developer and a Sun Certified Business Component Developer; has achieved Sun Certified Java Programmer status.
? 3-6 years of J2SE or Microsoft VB / ASP / .NET Programming or commensurate, demonstrated expertise.
? 3-6 years of J2EE Programming or commensurate, demonstrated expertise.
