Senior JDE CNC System Administrator

The requirement for our expanding JDE Dream Team is for a CNC Resource that possesses a very deep understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of the CNC-System Administration role. The candidate must have: (NOTE: will also consider JDE CNC Senior Technician resources with relevant experience.) Possible opportunities in varied locations in USA.
? Prior industry or consulting experience of a level commensurate with senior skill-set knowledge.
? In addition, at least 7 years of JD Edwards experience is required with more than THREE years of highly relevant CNC and Systems Administration direct experience, including troubleshooting, upgrades, ESU?s, ERP 8.0, 8.9, etc.
? Lastly, undergraduate degrees, advanced degrees and professional or JDE certifications are very favorably viewed for this position.
The team member must be a senior level resource capable of immediate value-add at client sites in a variety of environments and stages of implementation. Understanding of CNC tasks from pre-installation to post-implementation, including all levels of troubleshooting and HELP DESK support are essential. Experience in upgrades, new server installs, JAS server, etc. is required.
Must possess significant experience in the following areas:
? Installations and operation on multi platforms
? Troubleshooting [must have depth and be very intuitive in this area]
? Must be capable of presenting solutions to all levels of users
? Package Build and Deployment
? OMW
? Path codes and how they respond at installation/runtime/development
? Master Business Functions
? Environments [all aspects of environment management]
? Data sources, types, and locations
? Management of data and logic distribution between workstations and servers
? Experience with major platforms, operating systems and databases: AS400, client server, windows 2000, NT, SQL server, SQL 2000, Citrix, JDE JAS server, Oracle, HP/Unix, etc. is preferred
? Batch and Interactive UBE?s
? System security and system administration
? Able to identify and create Help Desk and CNC Support Programs
? Interaction with all other aspects of a OW implementation, functional and technical support through all project phases
