General Responsibilities:
Designing test cases and constructing specific tests for each case (shell scripts, test harnesses)
Building a test plan and implementing the plan during development life-cycle
Writing code
Interfacing with the client and building trusted advisor relationship

Requirements:

Knowledge of SOA
2-3 years of Java programming using: java/J2SDK
Web Programming using Servlets, Developing JUnits
Good understanding of OpenSource Frameworks like Spring, Log4j
Knowledge of Digital Certificates and Java Security Features
Experience in deploying Websphere would be a big plus.
Solid understanding of Java/J2SDK
Some software testing experience
Able to explain how the applicant tests his/her own code
Knowledge of unit testing practices (experience with JUnit would be a plus)
Familiar with concepts such as load/performance testing, black-box vs. white-box testing, scalability testing
Experience with various flavors of UNIX (Linux/AIX/etc...)
Unix shell scripting (this is very important)
Must possess a strong desire to "break" software
Must be able to ramp up and quickly provide value
Interest in software security and ??thinking like a hacker??

Education and Experience:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
4 years of software development experience with some consulting experience.
