Senior Lead Analyst - Training

Responsibilities: 

1. Support training and development for an organization of nearly 8,000 IT professionals, from entry level analysts through IT senior management, located at sites across the country

2. Manage IT Training segment coordinators

3. Partner with NAIT training manager and HR training liaisons to develop, implement, evaluate IT training offerings

4. Partner with NAIT training manager to ensure IT readiness to meet challenging business goals

5. Partner with NAIT training manager to establish consistent budgeting and training approval process

6. Design and perform segment-wide IT needs assessments to identify and analyze skill gaps and critical training needs

7. Lead segment Training Council meetings with IT directors and functional managers to understand training and development needs

8. Select the “best fit” approach for delivery of training (on-line, classroom, peer-instruction, etc.)

9. Research new techniques for training delivery in a highly demanding technical organization and keep abreast of technology trends in the industry

10. Evaluate the effectiveness of training classes, workshops, etc., and make changes as needed to improve future results

11. Manage vendor delivered training including: identifying best vendor solutions, contracting, negotiating best pricing, delivery, invoicing and evaluation



Specific Skills / Experience Required:

?Expert knowledge of workplace training and adult learning principles, preferably in a highly technical environment

? Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing a comprehensive training plan to address diverse learning needs in a large, technical organization

?Demonstrated experience in solving performance or skill gaps through focused and cost-effective training interventions

? Demonstrated ability to measure the effectiveness of training
Strong PC Desktop knowledge (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Training Server, etc.)

? Work in a high-pressure environment under tight deadlines

? Work with little supervision

 

Minimum Requirements

? Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, MIS, DIS or related field required ; Master’s preferred 

? Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written

? 2-3 years experience in a technical role or supporting a highly technology-oriented learning organization
