Position Summary:  The Senior MOM Engineer is responsible for the design and deployment of MOM 2000/2005 implementations and/or upgrades.

 

Primary Responsibilities:  Design, upgrade and deploy MOM 2000/2005.

 

Required Skills, Experience and Additional Requirements:

? 2-3 years MOM administrator experience within a large MOM multi-site environment of 300+ nodes.

? 7+ years experience working with Microsoft technologies in large IT environments.

? MOM 2005 and Windows 2003 Server knowledge and experience a plus.

? Windows 2000 MCSE certification.

? Completed at least one multi-Management Server design project.

? Able to analyze customer requirements, procedures and problems. 

? Design and implement Microsoft Operations Manager in large Enterprise Environments.

? Possess and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

? Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

? Work well within a team-oriented environment and display independent resourcefulness.

? Professional appearance and demeanor.

? Strong conceptual thinking ability.

? Travel requirements ? 50-75%.

 

Additional Experience Preferred:

? Visual Basic Scripting

? Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Windows 2003 Server

? Microsoft Management Packs (i.e. Exchange 2003) and Skywire Management Products

? Security Clearance Desired
