BS in Accounting or Finance

10 or more years experience in Accounting with focus on consolidations and financial reporting

Expertise in design and development of accounting policies, procedures and application of legal statutes

5 or more years supervisory /managerial experience

Responsible for all accounting transaction support for Corporate functions, and managing an accounting group of seven.

Manage the Ricoh Americas close process including deadline management, required submissions of subsidiary financial data.  Lead the effort to accelerate the close process

Formalize and document the closing process for monthly and year end consolidation and reporting

Manage monthly close process for Corporate accounts and consolidation process

Prepare consolidation for RFG management reporting

Prepare Japan consolidation reporting package

Maintain legal consolidation

Responsible for preparation of annual audited financial statements, including footnote disclosure

Responsible for managing relationship with external auditors

Maintain and develop strong financial internal controls over the accounting process

Coordinate with the Accounting Governance and reporting group on technical accounting requirements and significant transactions or events

Coordination with Taxation group to support tax reporting requirements

Technical accounting leadership in the area of derivatives, intangible assets and purchase accounting

Strong integration with the corporate finance group in balance sheet analysis and the financial impact of accounting events/changes

Involvement in the annual business planning process to ensure consistency of reporting corporate and consolidated results.

Establishes and adheres to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.

Advanced written and oral communication skills

Advanced command of effective recruitment, interviewing and selection skills

Advanced command and wide application of company and organization policies, practices and procedures

Advanced knowledge and wide application of theories and concepts in business & financial planning

Advanced knowledge and wide application of accounting, business & financial planning, and associated supporting computer systems and interfaces

Advanced command of legal statutes pertaining to accounting and financial reporting

Advanced business and financial analysis skills

Advanced knowledge of all business transactions and operations

Advanced understanding and application of organization?s networks and relationships, forming alliances across department, functional and business lines

Advanced understanding and application of appropriately allocating financial and human capital resources

Advanced knowledge of financial and statistical modeling practices and tools

Advanced command of establishing measures for assessing goal attainment and process performance

Additional Responsibilities:  CPA a +; Public Accounting Experience; Knowledge of Oracle and SOX
