Senior Oracle DBA 8.x to 10.x

Close Team Environment. Senior Oracle Database Administrator needed in North Scottsdale. Ensures greatest possible database availability, integrity, security and usability in a heterogeneous multi-node, multiple client/server RDBMS environment. This position is also responsible for forecasting data storage requirements and ensuring appropriate backup methodologies are implemented.Must have thorough knowledge in using Oracle 8.x to 10.x and Redhat for production/development, Windows 2000/2003, Windows NT, and SAN/NAS. Must have ability to perform maintenance on existing programs and identify or coordinate development of user requirements., thorough knowledge and skilled in writing and implementing technical scripts related to database administration and ability to provide a high level of customer service, proven organization and communication skills a must.Database monitoring and tuning experience required. Responsible for maintenance including index and table space optimizations. Monitor database storage, back up and archival. Develop SQL select statements and stored procedures. Develop embedded database procedures as required by developers. Evaluate RDBMS based software as required by new projects.Casual atmosphere and great benefits including Health, Dental and 401(k).
