Senior PRESALES Systems Engineer - Global Technology Industry Leader

Global Technology Industry Leader is seeking experienced SENIOR PRESALES ENGINEERS!!

Our Client is seeking senior, experienced Sales Engineers who can make significant contributions to revenue generation in a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise software business.

Persons in this position are fully responsible for supporting all aspects of the technical sales cycle, including: Technical Discovery; Presentation and Demonstration of a Solution to the customer?s problem; Managing Technical Validation, including ability to support onsite Proof of Concept projects and custom demos; Managing Post-Sales Relationship.

Individuals in this position are expected to drive the Group's rapid transition from selling an ETL tool for projects to selling enterprise-level solutions consisting of software, methodology, and services to C level executives in major corporations. The ideal candidate will be able to help large corporations realize significant ROI through effective application of their solutions to major business and IT initiatives.

Suitable candidates should possess some or all of the additional following capabilities: Strong demonstrated track record in project implementation in a major corporation or a consulting or systems integration firm is a plus; Strong understanding of enterprise data and data integration processes such as data modeling, data profiling, data matching and consolidation, and ETL; Demonstrated experience in implementing major enterprise application systems such as Enterprise Data Warehouses or ERP systems such as SAP; Strong understanding of enterprise hardware, database, and EAI technologies; Strong understanding of and demonstrated experience in application development and implementation in an enterprise computing environment. Detailed database knowledge a plus: Oracle, DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, Teradata and parallel databases.

Requirements: 10-15 years of strong demonstrated track record and rapid career advancement in Sales Engineering for a major enterprise software company.BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems Strong background in either OS390 or UNIX platforms Strong background in programming languages such as Java C, C++, or COBOL Strong experience in enterprise data integration preferred SAP experience is a plusExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills a mustAbility to travel 40-60% Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
