Senior Performance Engineer

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Support the Performance and Automation Engineering - Center of Excellence group for IT applications performance and automation testing areas
- Define, Develop and Establish IT Application performance engineering and automation (COE) framework, methodology, testing process, requriements and testing analysis, monitoring capabilities, metrics, reporting. includes definition of
performance dashboards that aligns with ITS business goals
- Work with QPA leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment and efficient utilization of resources.
- Coordinate activities with Infrastructure leads, Application Development and Architecture Leads, Development leads, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance leads during appropriate phases of project development life cycle
- The incumbent also possess the highest degree of knowledge and experience in both Software Engineering,? Applications Performance, industry tools and standards in Performance engineering, Software Quality Assurance (process, methodologies and best practices) and Test Autorotation tools with a proven track record in life cycle model
- Accountable for designing, developing, and executing the performance test automation suits for testing the application performance, and automating the QA testing efforts
- Ability to develop a Performance testing and QA automation framework for clients that
can be reused and leveraged to other projects in an efficient and proactive manner
- Responsible for managing, mentoring and leading the performance and automation engineering teams

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related analytical field. Masters or any advanced degrees or related professional certifications will be a plus
- 5+ years of solid experience in a Software engineering, QA Testing, ?Performance? and Automation areas
- 3+ years use of automation testing tools (Mercury products) in performance & QA automation testing
- 3+ years of development/testing/QA in web services, .NET, JAVA, J2EE, Oracle, XML, SQL, and SAP/ERP technologies, and relevant development and testing tools
- Experience with test plan creation, automated test scripting, and load/stress and performance and reporting
- Application Performance (subject matter expert) -? Analysis, Testing, QA Automation and Reporting

- Strong management, communication,? technical and remote collaboration skill are a must
- Manage group of ?Performance engineers, QA Automation, Analysts and contractors
- Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.? Ability to identify and communicate issues and risks
- Ability to effectively conduct technical discussions directly with Project/Product management, and clients
- Seeking a lead with Mercury products experience - LoadRunner/QuickTestPro (QTP)/TestDirector
