Project Description

Our client has several legacy Powerbuilder/Sybase applications that need support, upgrades and maintenance as they migrate to a Java/J2EE platform. Your role will be to provide support of these applications for the next 9+ months, while helping to develop the new application in Java. Full life-cycle experience is required, as is solid written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills

Powerbuilder version 6.5+

PFC

Sybase

SQL (Must be able to write Stored Procedures, triggers etc.)

Java/J2EE experience

Desired Skills

Websphere Application Server

WSAD

XML

Agile Methodology experience

Lending or Loan Origination application experience

Environment also includes PVCS, Mainframe, MQ Series, Webmethods, Business Objects, FileNet
