Senior Product Manager

Senior Product Managers are responsible for the success of product launches. They recommend the strategic course of action for new and existing products as well as service enhancements. To this end, Senior Product Managers research, prioritize, and document market requirements. They develop business plans, product strategies, requirements documents, pricing recommendations, and product positioning and work cooperatively with Product Development and other parts of the organization to deliver products that meet market requirements and generate competitive advantage. They manage products over their entire lifecycle to ensure maximum revenue and profitability. This position is a critical component of continued profitability and growth and a key role in the process of designing and delivering first class financial solutions to small and medium sized businesses. The ideal candidate should be able to identify and drive growth opportunities for the business, effectively prioritize and multi-task, and have a strong bias for action. Keys to success include exceptional analytical, creative, project management, and interpersonal skills along with an intense customer focus. Responsibilities: drive product strategy and roadmap for individual product lines throughout the life cycle, perform tactical product planning (including requirements, documentation, research, competitive analysis, trade-offs, pricing, and enhancements), document and articulate market requirements throughout the development process, support the vision and act as a product evangelist both internally and externally, provide Leadership in collaborative efforts with (Sales, Marketing, Client Support, and Development teams) to build (alignment, consensus, and closure) and create and manage relationships with external business partners, coordinate go-to-market strategy with Marketing and Business Development teams, lead the creation and design as well as execution and analysis of customer surveys.

A BS/BA degree is required; an MBA is preferred. Candidates must possess 8-12 years of related professional experience with at least 5 of the years spent in product management. Experience in a related field and experience in eCommerce or internet software development will be pluses. Candidates must have proven business management leadership (bringing new products to market and ensuring overall success) as well as excellent communication skills (written and verbal), experience with Agile product development models, strong inbound product marketing skills (defining requirements with input from customers and cross functional team members), ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, strong leadership skills (ability to motivate cross-functional teams through persuasion, analysis, and a passionate belief in yourself and the product line), experience in all aspects of a product's lifecycle management (from early stage product launches to managing mature and existing technologies), proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
