Senior Programmer Analyst (Ascential Data Stage Developer)

We have a 3 month temporary to permanent Senior Programmer Analyst

Position available for our client in Wilmington, DE

 

The successfully candidate will work in the MIS Datawarehouse Department as a Ascential Data Stage Developer. Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Ascential Data Stage, hands-on Erwin and data modeling experience, and Oracle experience. Solid understanding of the complete software development life cycle. Minimum 3+ years related data modeling experience (Erwin) developing logical and physical data models. 2+ years related data modeling experience in a data warehouse (STAR schema) environment. 5+ years related data modeling experience in a relational database environment (Oracle 9i or 10g). Able to participate in rotating production support (on-call) schedule. Understanding of star schema design, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes. Understanding of data warehousing and decision support tools and techniques. Self motivated individual. Ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues. Strong oral and written interpersonal and communications skills.

 

Experience with Property and Casualty Insurance is a big plus.
