Due to company growth we are seeking to add a Senior Programmer/Analyst to our Information Systems team!
CarMax is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Programmer/Analyst to join its Corporate Applications team. The chosen candidate will provide development expertise on a team that primarily develops, maintains, and supports applications for our home office, including Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, Recruiting, Marketing, Facilities, Real Estate, and others. Applications are both web- and client-based.
The successful candidate will be able to efficiently use structured analysis and design methodologies to create detailed specifications and complex software; diagnose and correct program defects in complex objects or modules; and work with users to define solutions to solve specific business problems. Candidates must have experience in the following:
- Visual Studio .NET
- Web Development (ASP, ASP.NET)
- XML, XSL, and Web services
- Database design and SQL
- Lotus Notes development, UNIX scripting preferred
- Excellent communication skills
