We are looking for a?Senior Analyst Quality Assurance?who will be responsible for the following:

?

1. Provide leadership in requirements testing of mainframe business application systems by defining testing strategies and executing system and regression tests.

?

2. Implement defined QA procedures to plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate and report results of software testing under minimal supervision for projects of all scopes.

?

3. Obtain, maintain and document (application) system knowledge necessary to perform defined QA procedures efficiently and effectively

?

4. Working with QA team members and application developers, quickly capture the major business functions and technology to be able to design and implement tests of system functionality that exercise all critical inter-system integration points.

?

5. Perform all non-management QA and testing tasks, throughout the SDLC (i.e., from pre-project initiation through post-project review and monitoring).

?

6. Coordinate efforts with other QA members responsible for building and maintaining the test environment and regression test bed.

?

7. Be accountable for projects of high complexity, high risk, and high visibility; lead QA Analysts in larger scope projects; handle multiple projects of varied complexity simultaneously

?

8. Provide feedback on and suggestions for improving QA Procedures to QA Project and Technical Leads

?

9. Utilize automation tools for executing and monitoring test cases

?

10. Must make sound decisions regarding quality and accuracy when reviewing testing plans, and associated documentation while ensuring adherence to ITD standards.

Qualifications include:

?

1. Strong documentation skills

?

2. Solid/demonstrated working knowledge on MS-Office tools and utilities

?

3. Demonstrated adaptability to change and respond to challenges in a changing environment, with the ability to work to strict deadlines and perform effectively in a team environment.

?

4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally in ITD

?

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills

?

6. Demonstrate project leadership skills, including planning, estimating, organizing, coordinating, communicating, and reporting.
?
5+ years in Mainframe Testing environment with focus on the testing discipline and software quality assurance.

?

1. Mainframe platform experience including IBM and/or Tandem - including database tools i.e. SPUFI, File -Aid, File Manager, QMF, TACL etc.

?

2. Knowledgeable in Configuration Management

?

3. Test Automation experience

?

4. Demonstrated leadership experience

?

5. Proven record of successful implementation of large projects and complex systems solutions

?

6. Multi-platform and systems integration experience
