Senior QA Test Lead

Currently, we have partnered with one of one of the nation?s largest Financial Services Companies to conduct a search for multiple Sr. Software QA Leads.

All openings are contract to hire and paying up to 70/hr to start.

 

The Senior QA lead must have a solid testing background. We would really like to see client-server and web based experienced. We need someone who is experienced in managing the whole testing process. Most activities for this position are geared towards Project Management. So Qualified candidates must have solid project management experience. Must have experience managing teams. Must be able to document test plans, test strategies, and more importantly, Risk Analysis.

Must have great communication skills, and be very positive to the team-the ?The what can I do to help? attitude.

Must be a team player. Prefer more of a democratic management style.

Looking for advanced knowledge, advanced testing knowledge, resourcing, forecasting budgets, how it applies to QA, and know it well.

?  8+ yrs QA test experience with 4+ yrs leading/managing testing teams of 5 or more

?  4+ yrs Web Testing experience

?  Understanding of QA Test Environments utilizing SQL or Oracle back-ends

?  Experience with Test Data management

?  Excellent communication skills

?  Excellent written skills

?  Development of the entire Test Strategy utilizing both manual and automation

?  Experience reporting testing status and metrics to middle and/or senior management

?  Worked in a structured environment with standard QA Procedures and Processes

?  Experience developing QA Best Practices Plan

?  Experience estimating projects

?  Experience developing QA Procedures

?  Experience developing QA Processes

?  Experience developing QA Methodologies

?  Experience conducting project, defect, and team meetings.

?  Experience with one or more testing tools

?  Team Player with a Proactive attitude

?  BS in a related field or equivalent work experience

?  Experience training and mentoring junior QA staff in formal and informal settings
