Senior SAP ABAP Engineer - CAN Team

And that's just one example of the dozens of upgrades and improvements currently underway.

 As our Senior SAP ABAP Engineer, you'll lead the SAP design, development, standards, processes and QA efforts for Nike on the Competitive Advantage to Nike (CAN) team. You'll solve business problems, write high-level design and technical specifications and assist with Nike SAP upgrades and Hot Pack/Fix Pack efforts. You'll also work with business partners to resolve problems, explain requirements, prioritize new functionality and install enhancements and new releases; perform development and maintenance activities, including conceptual system design, detailed specifications, technical design, coding and testing; and resolve problems, explain solutions and develop enhancements for new releases. In addition, you'll work with the team to handle the Dialog programming, User Exit programming, SAPScript and SMART Form programming, SAP Report development and BDC programming.



Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
5 years' technical, business, IT or related experience, 7 years preferred
3 years' SAP development experience
Application development skills in ABAP and experience on R/3 4.0 or above
SAP ABAP Dialog Programming, User Exit Programming, BDC programming and SAP Report Development skills
Experience leading teams of developers, defining standards and processes, architecting solutions, SAP upgrades, conducting design and code reviews
R/3 4.6 platform experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
SAPScript and/or SMART Form development is a plus
AFS experience and experience handling large/complex implementations is preferred
