Responsibilities:
This exciting, strategic senior-level Business Systems Analyst position will be responsible for maintaining and supporting SAP Material Management and SRM areas that meet the needs and expectations of the client. The candidate will work as the team lead in the SAP Center and will predominantly maintain SAP, MM, and SRM modules and support of business systems and processes. He/she will work with the team to maintain existing enterprise-wide implementation and drive enhancements/projects in the Procure-to-Pay area. The candidate will also be expected to have good understanding of SAP implementation methodology and full life cycle implementation knowledge. He/she will perform gap analysis and identify deficiencies in current software system and future enhancements. The incumbent will make recommendations based on key findings during requirements gathering, mapping and gap analysis. He/she will streamline core business processes and identify redundant or duplicate processes. The candidate will work closely with developers to provide guidance and clarification of functional specifications. He/she will create test plans and support system testing.

Requirements:
A B.S. in Computer Science, Business or a related discipline is required, with a MBA preferred. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience as an IT business systems analyst, or a related consulting role, is required. A minimum of five years of experience implementing SAP R/3 (MM/SRM) and at least two years of experience with SRM/EBP is a must. The candidate must possess expert knowledge of SAP Material Management Module and processes including procurement, inventory management and accounts payable. Hands-on configuration expertise of the SAP MM module is required and EBP preferred. Knowledge of integration points to other modules, particularly FI and SD, is essential. Experience with other software solutions such as Cognos, Business Objects and Essbase is preferred. Experience conducting requirement gathering interviews and workshops with end users is essential. The candidate must have the ability to plan migration from legacy systems, as well as develop documentation based on functional requirements and customizations. He/she must have the capability to develop workflows that clearly identify the transactional processes in place. The ability to resolve 'go-live' issues is required. The candidate must demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. He/she must possess skills in relationship building, customer-focus, decision-making and problem solving. The ability to quickly produce clearly written, well-organized documentation is essential. The candidate must have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the business in unfamiliar areas. Excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills are a must. Pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience is desired. Experience with validated or controlled IT environments is preferred. Big 4 consulting experience is preferred.
