Senior SAP Security Analyst

Responsibilities include balancing project and user support work, ensuring SAP Security methodology is being followed, measuring progress against project milestones, and providing status updates to project management.

Involvement with process improvement activities to ensure optimum customer service while maintaining proper security.

Responsible for ensuring that all SAP user access has proper segregation of duties and Pratt & Whitney is in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Ongoing maintenance and monitoring of this access is also a requirement.

Responsible for providing information for all government, internal, and external audits in the area of SAP Security. May also be required to assign access to SAP production system for auditors and respond to SAP security audit issues.

Ensure customer support levels of satisfaction are maintained. Troubleshooting and problem resolution, as well as answering customer requests/concerns about system access is required on a daily basis. Upwards of 20,000 users are supported by the team.

Design and build SAP Security Profiles for end users. Process involves receiving information at the transactional level from project teams, developing appropriate grouping of transactions into activity groups, determining security for each transaction based on project requirements, and rolling security requirements into SAP Security Profiles assigned to end users.

Coordinate with Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Site Readiness teams to ensure timely and effective assignment of SAP Security Profiles to end users. Responsible for documenting changes to user profiles and end user access.

B.S. in Computer Science or related field required;
7-10 years experience in related field required;
Experience with version 4.7 of SAP is preferred;
Experience with SAP Profile Generator is preferred.
