Senior SAP System Analyst/Programmer

The Company has an opening for an SAP Systems Analyst/Programmer Sr. on the Business Applications Services (BAS) Supply Chain Manufacturing Team. The Org provides high quality, value added business support services to company divisions worldwide. This is a local position only. This person will be maintaining the SAP programming environment; responsible for the design, development, and testing of SAP programs; and implement application coding standards, controls and rules as defined for data conversions, interfaces, and bolt-on software application. This person will implement techniques for interface construction, error detection and recovery handling, multi-platform complexity, and data synchronization; manage development against specified plan and coordinate requests for SAP enhancements and applications development; and be able to work in a matrix managed environment, with priorities changing rapidly. This person will participate in defining solutions, both standard and customer, for users worldwide in support of Manufacturing; participate with Customers internally/externally to identify customer requirements; and flexibility in responding to dynamic requirements, while managing multiple tasks. This person will share knowledge and assist both internal customers as well as external (divisions) and handle special projects as assigned.

SAP programming experience in modules including MM, PM, PP, & QM are required. SAP Programming knowledge is useful. Candidates must have experience with the following: SAP Std Report, ALV Report, Module Program, BAPIs/BADIs, User Exits, and Smartforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in defining custom requirements, presentation of concepts, ideas, SAP functionality, and training are required. A strong team player with excellent organizational skills and the ability to represent the team in a professional manner is required. Candidates must have a strong understanding of how the Manufacturing process works. A BS or equivalent experience and 7+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP programmer with background in Production Planning supporting a global supply chain in an OEM environment is required.
