We are currently hiring for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join our production and development teams at our Los Angeles office near located near LAX. This position is for a highly seasoned expert in Microsoft SQL Server administration to serve as primary Database Administrator for mission critical and development databases. The required skills for this position include 5+ years of production or development Database Administrator experience.

Qualifications:

-  5+ years of SQL Server Database Administrator experience preferred.

-  Expert knowledge of DTS packages and SQL replication.

-  Understanding of MS SQL server security administration (users and permissions).

-  Expert performance tuning skills - SQL Profiler and Performance Monitor, SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, functions and transactions analysis, thorough understanding of indices and statistics (Query Optimizer).

-  Knowledge of hardware subsystems of MS SQL server storage and how it relates to performance - SAN experience is a plus.

-  Sense of humor.

-  BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field, preferred.

-  Must be detailed oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills

-  Self-motivated; aggressive self-starter and roll-up-your-sleeves type; strong communication and people skills.
