Senior Sales Representative

ConsultUSA provides IT staffing and Project Management Training Solutions to Fortune 1000 companies in major markets across the United States. Over the last 7 years ConsultUSA has pursued a strategy of becoming a national leader in both the IT staffing and the Project Management Training industries. Key components to this strategy are to provide highly differentiated synergistic products and services leveraging local university brands. For Houston we are partnered with University of Houston at Clear Lake.

 

 

ConsultUSA is seeking an experienced sales person to develop new accounts for IT staffing and Project Management opportunities, leveraging our University of Houston Clear Lake relationship. We are looking for sales professionals with "hunter" capabilities and who have experience developing deep and consultative relationships with their clients.

 

The successful candidate will have 4 to 10 years of sales experience in the IT staffing or training industry and will have an exceptionally high degree of professionalism. The ideal candidate will have experience selling into Fortune 1000 and mid market customers. The sales team is supported by a highly-skilled national recruiting team that assists in uncovering talent and delivering high quality IT staff and Project Management Training Solutions. A local recruiter will also be hired in the Houston area.

 



The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling IT staffing services, placement services and project management training.The ideal candidate will have a track record of selling IT staffing services in the Houston area. The candidate must be willing to have staff reporting to them. The sales representative will report into the Pittsburgh headquarters.

 



Required Skills:

- 4-10 years of IT Staffing sales in Houston

- Have previously established relationships with clients

- Ability to open new client accounts

- Have an established sales track record, sales goals/actuals

- Ability to quickly establish rapport with clients

- Experience identifying IT contract and Project Management opportunities

- Experience placing IT consultants within an IT contractor environment.

- Experience presenting and "selling" qualified candidates to the clients.

- Ability to build existing clients to increase business/headcount.

- Self-Starter, people oriented, ability to work independently

- Ability to meet financial metrics

- Strong Communication skills

- Ability to call at all levels of an organization including executives

- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, presentations, and written

- Ability to sell project management training and solutions

- Understanding of Universities

- Understanding of recruiting techniques

- Understanding of marketing techniques



Nice to have:

- Experience working for a national IT staffing company

- Experience using Bond Internationals Adapt Software
